FAQ
Quick answers about this hub, Firefox add-ons, and the site.
What is Wer List99 Extensions Hub?
It is the companion site for Wer List99 Firefox add-ons: links to official Mozilla Add-ons (AMO) listings, a live catalog on the homepage, and blog posts about releases. It is not a separate app store — installs always go through Mozilla.
How do I install an add-on?
Open the AMO listing (from the catalog or a post) and click Add to Firefox. This hub only links to addons.mozilla.org — never to repacked or third‑party installers.
Is this site affiliated with Mozilla?
No. Wer List99 is an independent developer project. It is not affiliated with Mozilla, the Firefox trademark, or Mozilla Corporation. Firefox® is a trademark of the Mozilla Foundation.
Where does the homepage extension catalog come from?
The grid is built from public Mozilla Add-ons data. Names, versions, and compatibility can change — always check the live listing on AMO before installing.
Do these extensions work on Firefox for Android?
Some add-ons support Firefox for Android. Open each listing on AMO and read Compatibility and the description.
The logo or theme images do not show — what should I check?
Use HTTPS image URLs. The most reliable option for Blogger is to upload the image in a post and use the blogger.googleusercontent.com address. After you change the theme HTML, click Save and hard‑refresh (Ctrl+F5). If an old picture sticks around, clear the browser cache.
Can I use Google Drive for images in the theme?
You can if you use a direct file URL and the file is shared so visitors can load it. Many site owners prefer Blogger-hosted images (see above) because behaviour is more predictable than hotlinking from Drive.
Blogger showed an XML error about “entity export” when saving the theme — why?
Theme files are XML. In attributes, every & in a URL must be written as &. For example, &export= becomes &export= inside the theme.
DevTools shows “image/jpeg” for a .webp link — is that wrong?
Not necessarily. Blogger’s CDN may transcode or report a generic type. If the image looks correct in the browser, you can ignore the MIME label.
Where can I read privacy information?
Each add-on has privacy notes on its AMO listing. For this blog, see the Privacy Policy page.
